Watch: 10,000 Kg Of Misal Prepared In Pune To Celebrate Ambedkar JayantiA group, Pune Ekta Misal, grabbed everyone's attention by making 10,000 kg of misal on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti (April 14). In the clip, shared by a food vlogger, Amar Sirohi, on Instagram, two members are constantly stirring a massive utensil, filled with an enormous amount of gravy. We can also see a group of people gathered around the utensil to witness the making of 10,000 kg of misal. While two men are stirring the gravy, a few can be seen adding ingredients to the dish.

As per a report by Pune Times Mirror, to make 10,000kg of misal, the group used “1000 kg of matki, 800 kg of onion, 200 kg of ginger, 200 kg of garlic, 700 kg of oil, 140 kg of misal masala, 40 kg of red chilli powder, 40 kg of turmeric powder, 50 kg of salt, 140 kg of coconut, tamal leaf 7 kg, farsan 2500 kg, water 10,000 litres, coriander 125 judi, and 1000 lemon.”

The event was organised by Kranti Surya Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti Committee, the report mentioned.

In the clip, the vlogger can be heard saying that more than a lakh people relished this misal. Not just this, the event was also attended by Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. The clip concluded with the food vlogger enjoying the dish with bread. Sharing the clip, he wrote, “World Record 10,000 Kg Misal Making on Ambedkar Jayanti.”
